Those displaced dissertations sure do seem like they’re on their way to extermination, and right now they’re in some kind of in-between state, like purgatory or something, if I can horribly mix metaphors in a totally nonsensical way.

so tragic! it seems proto-totalitarian, or something; methinks Hannah Arendt would be most displeased, for displaced dissertations are on the road to becoming exterminated dissertations, retroactively deprived of ever having existed.

I should go blog on my own blog now, but I don’t know where to begin, and mine will never approach yours in aesthetic appeal and/or wittiness. I think my blog should be filed under “displaced.”
