Well I'm on my last day of spring break and what have I been doing with myself? Laying around moaning, blowing my nose, making disgusting hacking sounds, etc. I had all kinds of fun things planned for this weekend (including meeting Sara for a trip up to Windy Knitty for their grand opening event - there were PRIZES, people!), all of which were canceled so I could convalesce.
At any rate, I'm not just checking in here to whine to you all about my disease; I wanted to give a heads up about Knitting and Crochet Blog Week! I'll be joining a bajillion other knit/crochet bloggers in posting on different topics every day this week. I've been hoarding pictures for the occasion, and have looked over the topics, but have yet to write a single word. EEP. Hopefully I can squeak out a couple hours of coherence this afternoon to prepare myself a bit better. I'm looking forward to the week - not only because it'll give me a much-needed kick in the ass, but also I hope to meet some new-to-me people and their blogs! I have an RSS reader packed to the gills with dead blogs that I'd love to repopulate. It seems while I've been feeling bloggy this year a lot of others have not. So hopefully you'll enjoy hearing more from me this week, and please say hello if you haven't ever done so before!
I’ve been VERY bloggy since about mid-November. Not that anyone else knows but me.
Heh.
Ugh. This is my last day of spring break too and I’m in the same nose-blowing boat as you. Miserable. And I’m also participating in Knitting and Crochet blog week! Hopefully I can muster up some energy to get ready.
Sorry to hear you’ve been sick!
I’m intrigued by the Knit & Crochet Blog Week thing. I keep meaning to blog more often and then not actually doing it, so that might give me a good excuse to get back in the habit. Of course, starting up the day I get back from a cross-country conference trip might not be the best plan, coherence-wise! (At least, I don’t particularly plan on being coherent after taking a red-eye flight. Could make for entertaining content, though!)
Spring Breaaaaaaaak! Woooooooo! Yeah I spent my Spring Break job hunting, knitting, and watching tv. (and it was awesome)
I think I might do some Blog Week posts? Maybe? I can’t drum up enthusiasm for all of the topics. I am impressed that you’ve been hoarding photos though.
