That's Becko in her new my so called scarf!
pattern: my so called scarf from sheep in the city
yarn: Jo-Ann Bellezza Collection Dolcetto, which ravelry tells me is discontinued... I got this stuff a while back when it was on sale - maybe that was when it was discontinued? Anyway, it's a blend of cotton, wool, and a little nylon. Very soft, but VERY little give. It was kind of hard on my hands, in combination with this stitch pattern and the big-ish needles (not my favorite), but the finished product is really very nice.
needles: bamboo US11 circs
I didn't do a gauge for this, since it's just a scarf. I think I cast on 30 stitches, like she says to do in the pattern, but really, you could do however many you want. I found this youtube video immensely helpful when I first started. And finally, were I to knit this scarf again, I would slip the first stitch of every row instead of knitting it. I found that no matter how I tried, the ends kept looking so messy. Most of the mess cleared up in the blocking, but I saw a photo of one on ravelry (sorry, I forget who it belonged to and I'm not in the mood to wade through the 10,000 my so called scarves on there!) with slipped-stitch ends and it looked nice and neat.

Merry Christmas, BECKO!!!!!!!!
YAY PINK KNITTED ITEM! I LOVE YOU!!!!!
